Hi Brenda, I don't know if this is the right place, but I want to tell you why I want to participate in the mother/daughter challenge. It is a challenge for me because my youngest is a girl and she's 16 yrs. old. I am 55 yrs old and my three other children are already alone. Natalie and I love each other deeply, but we have very little in common. I sometimes sit down with her to see her favorite tv shows just because I know how important it is to bond by doing things she likes. I asked her if she would like to make a doll with me and she thought about it and said yes. I was surprised because Natalie is not a crafter in any way. I believe this adventure will be great for Natalie and me to get to know each other better and will bring us closer than we are now. This is very important to me as I didn't have that with my mother and I wish I had. Thank you, even if we're not winners, we will be better for this beautiful idea of yours. Hugs, Iris p.s. love the "Doll Retreat".
